We are hosting our second annual Second Street Farm Open House and plant sale!

Peruse the baby plants, grab some Lander Bread Share treats, buy some fresh veggies and flowers, and see what’s new on the farm. Here’s the run down:

• Plant Sale! We’ll have a large variety of plants available for purchase, all grown using organic practices, including:

  • Veg! Tomatoes (cherry, heirloom, paste—all indeterminate), eggplant, cucumbers, winter and summer squash, lettuce, arugula, spinach, bok choy, parsley, cilantro, basil, peppers, and more.

  • Blooms! We’ll also have some flowers seedlings great for cutting gardens, including calendula, zinnias, nigella and cosmos.

  We’re also so happy to share growing techniques and best practices with you—ask away!

• Lander Bread Share treats! Lander Bread Share will be slinging freshly baked bread and pastries to help fuel your Memorial Day weekend festivities.

• Spring Veggies. We’ll have produce available for purchase, including arugula, mixed lettuces, radish, turnips, green garlic, and more.

• Flowers! The first of our ranunculus will be in bloom! We’ll have bouquets available for purchase.

• FREE old row cover. We have lots of row cover/frost cloth that we can’t use and we’d love to see go free to home gardens.

Parking is limited, so consider carpooling or biking. How to get here — the address is 1527 N. 2nd Street, follow the long driveway until you see parked cars and/or the tunnels.
